Joe Corben
Joe Corben, a lifelong resident of Hertfordshire, began his musical journey at age 11 with his first guitar, despite coming from a family of drummers. Early drum lessons with Andy Demetriou nurtured his rhythmic instincts, but his passion quickly shifted to the guitar. His curiosity eventually extended beyond performance into music production.
In 2006, Joe’s interest in sound deepened when he bought a Zoom 8-track recorder, sparking his fascination with home recording. Throughout his school years, he played in local bands and performed live, gaining valuable stage experience and a practical understanding of band dynamics and live sound.
A pivotal moment came during a work experience placement at a local recording studio, where Joe developed foundational engineering and production skills. Concurrently, he worked as a guitar technician for a blues band, further honing his expertise in live sound and gear management.
Joe went on to study musical performance for two years, broadening his theoretical and practical knowledge. Over time, his focus shifted toward electronic music production, where he now channels his diverse skills into digital sound creation.
Today, Joe is a vital behind-the-scenes contributor to the band, affectionately known as "the fifth Daisy." Though not an official band member, he plays a crucial role in shaping their recorded sound, offering both objective feedback and original ideas. His blend of enthusiasm, technical know-how, and creative insight makes him an indispensable partner in any musical project
